Deadline®
Download Deadline®
A license is required to use Deadline® unless you are running 2 slaves or less (in which case Deadline® runs in Free Mode). See the Deadline® FLEXlm Licensing Guide for more information on acquiring a license and setting up your license server.
After downloading the latest Deadline® installation package, see the Deadline® Installation Instructions for complete details on installing and configuring Deadline®.
Important Notice when upgrading from Deadline 2.7 to Deadline 3.0
Due to the large amount of internal changes to the client and repository structure and how data is stored, you need to reinstall the Deadline® 3.0 client on all of your machines, and you need to install the Deadline® 3.0 repository to a new location. Once you are running Deadline® 3.0, you will be able to upgrade to future 3.x releases as normal.
Important Notice for 3ds Max users when installing Deadline® 2.7
In order to render 3ds Max jobs with Deadline 2.7, you must download the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable. Then run the appropriate installer (one is for x86, the other for x64) on your slave machines. If you have both 3ds Max 9 32 bit and 64 bit on the same machine, you should run both installers.
